Volunteer activity at Bidunuwewa Child Care Center. Assist with morning routines, help with educational activities, or engage in playtime with the children

Lunch break. Enjoy a provided lunch or a local meal at a nearby eatery.

Afternoon session at the Child Care Center. Continue assisting with activities, perhaps focusing on creative or recreational engagement with the children.

Free time for cultural immersion or relaxation.

Dinner. Share a meal with fellow volunteers or the host family, enjoying local cuisine and conversation.

Evening activity (optional).

Bandarawela Tea Estates: Visitors can walk through the lush tea estates, tour them, observe tea plucking, and enjoy fresh Ceylon tea while taking in the scenery.
Bandarawela Town and Area:
Colombo to Ella Train Ride: Described as one of the world's most scenic journeys, this train ride passes waterfalls, forests, tea plantations and mountain tunnels.
Tuk-Tuk Experience in Bandarawela: Riding in a tuk-tuk is a fun and budget-friendly way to explore Bandarawela's roads, trails, and shops.
Volunteers will be assigned to stay with a host family nearby. The accommodation provides volunteers with all basic needs. There is Wifi provided at the homestay/ hostel.
